Itinerary

11:30–12:30 – Pick-up and Transfer to Elephant Mountain

13:10 – Elephant Mountain Hiking
Cross Elephant Mountain to visit Long Hoa Ancient Pagoda, built during the Ly Dynasty in the 11th century. Continue to Gia Vi Cave, a natural limestone karst cave, then hike to Elephant’s Back and Fairy Chessboard Peak.
From the summit, enjoy sunset views over the river, villages, countryside, and rice fields. After the hike, stop at a local vendor for bia hoi served with peanuts.

16:00 – Return to Hai Phong
Drive back to the city and stop at a local eatery to enjoy Hai Phong red crab noodles like a local. Drop-off is available at your hotel in Hai Phong or Cat Bi International Airport.

Pickup

11:30 AM at your cruise port in Halong. Pick-up time is flexible according to your cruise schedule. (please buy more transfer https://haiphongtours.com/halong-to-hai-phong-transfer/)
12:30 PM at your hotel in Hai Phong.

Drop-off

Drop-off at approximately 5:00 PM at Cat Bi International Airport or AEON Mall Hai Phong.

If you choose AEON Mall, you may arrange your own taxi to the airport. The drive takes approximately 15 minutes.

To keep the same vehicle after drop-off for luggage storage, an additional US$15 applies for each one-hour block.

Wr used Hai Phuong Tours for transfers in northern Vietnam during our 3 week trip there. They arranged private transfers for my family (and our many suitcases) between 4 cities. Halong Bay tour and bus transport without speaking Vietnamese

I booked a Halong Bay tour and a transport from Hai Phong to Tam Coc. The tour was really interesting. Our guide marteen did a great job and the food was delicious. I would have liked to hear more about the cave especially the stone formations and creation rather than stones looking like chicken or turtles though. The transport worked good as well. Although only a few people actually speak english, the little they speak ist enough to tell you what to do. Hotel pickup and delivery back worked just as good as the organization of the tour and transport via WhatsApp. Thank you!
